Nickolas Sharp is the owner/funder/idea guy behind the Demon Archives as a project. He has a lot of creative randomness rattling around in his brain, but lacks the talent to execute it in an artistic medium. Luckily Nick has been blessed with an extremely talented younger brother Dan, and with two amazing artistic talents in the form of Sebastian and Matias. Now more about Nick.
Nick studied Biochemistry at the University of Arizona. He was a fanatical follower of genetics and bio-engineering and loved the concepts espoused by the “Bio-mimicry” movement. Nick found so much amazing beauty to be found in nature, and the complexities of the biochemical pathways in the human body alone were astounding to him. Nick spent time in a lab working towards further understanding of the biochemistry of the mosquitoes responsible for Maleria, Dengue, and West Nile.
Nick later served as a missionary in Cordoba Argentina, and it was here that he gained his understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language and the Latin culture. After two years of service he returned and finished a few more semesters at the UofA. Returning to visit in 2007 and returning to live in 2008, Nick found his love and now wife in Veronica del Valle Diaz. He is now the father of four, and loving every minute that the kids are asleep!
He is now a computer programmer and a Consultant at Neudesic. Prior to that he had worked in freelance Web Development for about 8 years. Now he is leveraging his skillset into managing this website as a whole and the marketing requirements thereof. He is the moneybags behind the Demon Archives and is loving every minute of seeing his idea polished and produced by Dan, Matias and Seba.
Nick is also “webmaster” so if you want to talk to him about anything regarding the site as a whole you can just use the contact menu. Also, if you like software and web development, you might like some of the gibberish that Nick posts in his section of our team blog.
Set in 22nd century Earth, over 100 years after the 3rd World War, the Demon Archives tells the survivors' stories as they struggle to rebuild civilization. In Book One, we'll meet the members of Minerva, one of the few high tech organizations that survived the War, and learn how they established a beacon of hope in the dreary wasteland of central Asia.
Minerva: Book One of the Demon Archives follows the story of Tenzin, a Minervan soldier, and his Oracle AI, Jane, as they fight to protect the ideals Minerva stands for in an increasingly chaotic world.
With a heavy basis in real science and technology with a healthy dallop of imagination, The Demon Archives will show you how life could be in a post-apocalyptic Earth.
