As a project we are going to do our best to never have banner ads… That’s a bold statement and we may not be able to hold to it. But there are several ways that you can help us to avoid that evil. Here are just a few of them:

Get involved Socially with us! We are doing a lot of work to manage our Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus etc. All those links are down in the footer, and all of that commentary helps promote our brand. If you are reading something and you like it, then give us a tweet, Like, Plus one etc. They really do help quite a lot.

Amazon - We have done our best to get a great affiliate partnership going on with Amazon. This means that you can buy the stuff you were planning on buying anyway, and we will get a commission. So helping out our project can be as easy as clicking our link before you buy what you would normally buy. A slight change in your habits is direct cash to support our project. Here are some examples of the magic we can help you with via Amazon.

Newegg.com - We have set ourselves up with an affiliate account with Newegg! They are our preferred vendor for all things technological. They ship on time, their customer service is stellar and they replace stuff that arrives dead on arrival. So this holiday season if you are thinking of buying anything electronic from them, you can follow our links first and help us out a bit:

FireHost - We are currently hosting this project with Firehost. And if you read Nick’s blog articles you will realize that he is completely in love with them. Another reason we love them is that we are qualified FireHost partners. That means we can assist you in determining your hosting needs, and then place you in contact with our service and sales techs at FireHost and they can get you setup just like they have done for our site. This is great because we can be a bit more involved with helping you out, and FireHost helps us out economically as well.

Dreamhost - We still have some of our small and medium sized sites on Dreamhost.com. They are pretty cheap and good for prototyping and personal sites. If you need hosting for that type of need then we can recommend them based on our using them for the last few years. If you sign up after clicking the DreamHost link right here, then we would get a fatty affiliate commission check. Another way you could get something you need anyway, but help us out while doing it.
