So, the other day I posted about how ridiculously awesome the technicians are over at FireHost. They came out of nowhere the other day and basically said:
“Hey, we know other hosting providers provide SHIT service and try to resolve all of your problems with more hardware ($$), but we are so ridiculously badass that we have thought of a way to make your site even leaner and faster than we already made it… Varnish baby… so… will you let us save you money and provide a better product to your users?”
So that might be not exactly what they said… but it follows my “basically” rule, which allows me to exaggerate like a madman. Either way they set it up, and check out the results of their latest speed/load test on the server:
# Load test demonstrating 400 concurrent workers hitting the site as fast as possible for 60 seconds # Testing URL = http://www.demonarchives.com/chapter-1-page-2-wakeup/ Lifting the server siege... done. Check out those monsters at FireHost, and if you need hosting for anything, let me know in a comment form and I can help get you setup with these big hitters!
