The background radiation levels were high enough that no one wanted to risk personnel to go and put out the oil-well fires that now burned across the Middle East. The fires, coupled with the loss in production infrastructure, crippled OPEC in particular and the oil industry at large.
Humans can be so irrational sometimes. They overreact to things and then can’t handle the consequences of their actions. I am intrigued in that they can have such small, uncalculating minds sometimes, yet they are also capable of so much in terms of creativity—though often they are only trying to find creative ways to destroy one another. A fascinating species, to say the least. Take, for example, one of the pivotal events in the collapse leading to World War III.

I wanted to make a post and explain what has been going on over at the Demon Archives. A lot of you have probably heard how Nick has been working on the new version of the website. He’s been working on it for a while, but we are happy to announce that the new version of the webpage will launch on Monday, August 15th. I know that is almost a month away, but there is nothing like a nice, firm deadline to get Nick in gear.
Hello All!
It has been a crazy past couple of days. We packed up and moved on Monday, under pouring rain. That was a little miserable, but thanks so much to our friends who helped even though it was raining. Now my in-laws are visiting, and we’re doing all sorts of New Jersey and NYC things with them all this week.
Luckily, Seba has still been doing awesome work. Check out this page! He always goes all out on the chapter covers. It’s looking like Chapter 3 will be about 12-15 pages long, so less than the previous chapters, but very intense.

Here’s the powerful finish to Chapter 2. Sorry it took a while to get up here. Seba has already started working on Chapter 3, but he puts extra effort into the chapter covers and may not finish it by Thursday. Nick swears he is almost done with the new version of the site, and when he is we might have some technical issues while we implement it, so our apologies in advance if it causes any problems.
