New page! Starting with the color flats today, to show you this part of the process while Seba finishes the color details.

As part of this page creation, Seba came up with a great hashtag: #wwcDd. “What would Captain Dorje Do?” I encourage you to fill out panel 3 with the best, funniest, whateverest thing Rick could have thought that Captain Dorje would do XD

My contribution? “Oh crap, lose two limbs!”

Week four of the Spider Forest Comic of the Week. Two more great comics from Spider Forest you should check out :)

The perils of adopting 20-somethings and throwing them at monsters.

  • Matthew Bird

“Totally fail to save everyone he cares about.”

  • Delta-v

“Rush mindlessly into a dangerous situation without any plan except “TENZEN SMASH!”

    • Adriano

I thought his plan was shouting “INDIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”

  • Amberlight

“What would captain Dorge do?” sounds like one of the worst desicion-making rules possible.

  • T.R.

Interesting that a weapon is stored next to what appears to be a powered exoskeleton. (even if the door is locked)

    • Got any theories? ;)

      • Blake Pereira

Mass-deployment prototype of the armor Tenzin had- it looks like a Keleres standard-issue suit, plus a powered-exoskeleton frame.

        • Nice, nice. The Keleres DID have some powered-exoskeleton elements to their armor, even it is wasn’t this visually apparent.

        • Honza Prchal

Agreed. Awfully handy for movin’ stuff about in a combat loading setting, and also useful as spare parts or last-ditch combat enhancements in a pinch … and by pinch I mean a Stalingrad tractor factory during THE war.

      • Kaiden

My guess is it’s a ready locker, that way in an emergency a soldier only needs to make one stop to be fully armed and armored.

        • Hornet

It’s what Randy uses to peg radioactive vermin down in Gopher’s Gulch.

          • He used to bull’s-eye womp rats back home.

          • Kaiden

That’s impossible, even for a computer!

          • Use the force, Randy.

      • Matt [in Middletown]

        Secret agent Randy

  • Tenzin? Heck, do what Lily would do. Inexplicably make those machines do your bidding like a boss. And if that don’t work, throw a tactical brick. I hear those are surprisingly effective.

    • Adriano

Have my upvote for the brick

  • Matt [in Middletown]

    Be very careful, Randy 2.0.

    • Honza Prchal

So … which is it? Be careful, or be randy? The two don’t tend top go together really well … or did you mean Randy?
      Cap[italization. Hmph.
Two worms fought in dead Earnest. He didn’t mind. He was dead.

  • Honza Prchal

What would CD do? Apprently, he’d semi suit up and re-enact the “Get away from her you _itch!” scene from Aliens. S Bohem, tiny not good with ladies tech man! S Bohem!

    • Ooh nice reference!

      • Honza Prchal

It is iconic … and awesome.

  • Adriano

    NO
“What would Cap Dorje do?” IS NOT A VALID OPTION
SEE WHAT THAT GOT HIM IN
    DON’T, RANDY
    DON’T DO THAT

  • Justice

My boy! Armor up and Roll out!

  • Aaron R.

No Randy, the saw is quicker way to lose an arm and a leg.

    • This is amazing.

    • T.R.

Are those official Oculus-issue sunglasses? Or is the person under Tenzin’s foot just hoping they looked cool when they got their face stomped?

    • Kahunabob

Figures cheesy 80’s action flick references would survive nuclear devastation ;)
Waiting for a Church of Chuck Norris reference now :-)

(Edited for spelling. Grammar needs coffee.)

      • There’s a new Chuck Norris in town, and his name is Captain Dorje.

  • GES280

Put a grenade on his chest, pull the pin and then tackle someone.
