Hey all, here’s the page, sorry it’s a bit late. We’re definitely going to have to take a short break after this chapter ends. What should we do during it?

Find a large body of water. Obtain a floating cooler and inflatable trampoline. Only return to dry-land for re-stocking of spirits and energy capsules.

    You could take a break from posting, and we could get a Demon Archives RPG going. Dibs on the Deathbot min-maxed character.

      The bottleneck is finding a GM. Very few people have the time to do it, and most of the ones who do, want to play instead. :(
      
      Daniel Sharp, for example is pursuing a double Doctorate. Even if he never posted again, he wouldn’t have that much extra time for the next 6 - 7 years. (Or is it more like 8?)

        I could probably run something. I’ve participated in a couple forum-based RPGs, and ran one for a while. Helped with the “training area” of another.
        
        I wouldn’t be able to be full time or anything, but I could set aside a couple hours in the evenings to make some posts.

Another thing : I bet Angeline saw this bot on Lily’s drawings ! 1000 MCs for me ! :D
And lastly, I find that Angeline should have a piercing under her down lip, so she would look prettier and badassier and cooler. Especially in panel 2 and 8.

  Heh, are your theories the spoiler or would my answers be? Because assuming you haven’t hacked my computer, I can just answer as much as I want ;) So here, or in the forum (start up a conspiracy theory thread or something), or if you really want to, I can give you my email :)

      Tiryaki gets my “j’accuse”, or at least someone high in Glaucus. APERs are a technological solution to a problem (presumably to weaken Aegis’ position at council, then ram through some other change). She knows the tech in the power armor, including weaknesses. She could retard Glaucus’ tech progress by nudging them down blind alleys already found by Konstantin’s lot. She’s best place to rig secret comms channels.
      
      Smith would need a suitably-high-placed accomplice in Glaucus to get the same advantages, and it would still be second-hand expertise.
      
      Also, Smith was always likely to suggest a truce, it’s the only card he can play in war, so it would be easy to play at being convinced and look neutral while undermining Aegis.

I predict Constantine, worm though he be, will have his revenge upon the parasites who run Oculus … and that it will be his final act.
As Aragon, son of Arathon, put it, “Then we must do without hope. There is always VENGEANCE.” Vengeance upon the wicked may belong to the LORD, but with a name like Constantine, he is a perfect instrument for the Almighty. It even fits the Russian setting, with Constantinople being the Second Rome and Russia being the Third.
… or perhaps I am overthinking this?

    Sifu is so going to get vengeance and it’s going to be explody and bloody for Oculus as they try to use their “police” to stop Aegis’s soldiers and mech-suits playing “shoot-’em-up” with moving targets.
    When was Russia the THIRD Rome? I knew Constantinople was second due to the East/West split but when did Russia get invited?

    And really, there are a lot of solid entries in the second 100 now — more so than a year ago. My theory is that eventually people notice good work :-) Even Requiem and Vattu are above 500.

So hey, here’s a crazy idea, if your super-advanced AI, who personally dragged your (apparently) best soldier out of the jaws and death and mouth of Hell with some kid in tow and then managed to epiphany him back to consciousness almost single-handedly, comes up with a conspiracy theory, maybe consider it might have some basis in fact.
I mean, y’know, just if you want to have a POINT to having mothered the aforementioned super-advanced AI. The one who’s basically responsible for the story not being over three chapters ago. That AI.

Well, Jane has a better hairline, but her jawline and emotive sophistication have suffered (IMHO). She does look like a sulky adolescent in some of these..
