Click the two images/links above to see our Patreon and TWC pages. From the TWC page, you can favorite us, vote for us, even comment about us as a comic in general, like Delta-V did.

In other news, the March TWC contest for adspace may have unofficially been called early. If you’d be willing to still vote, please do so, because it hasn’t been officially called and it would stink to lose last minute ;) Regardless, they are assuming we’ll win and have already given us some adspace over on the TWC website. That’s been bringing in a lot of traffic already (welcome ad clickers!), which is awesome. Thanks you all of you who have been voting and helping us win that :D

EDIT: The 2nd place guy is not content with 2nd place and is pushing hard to dethrone us from first, so if everyone can please vote with each IP address that they can get till the end of March, that would be great.

Help us win :D

Chapter 4 will start on Monday, featuring the artistic talents of 2 other artists besides Seba. You’ll see why, so I won’t ruin it. But be excited, it’s going to be quite a ride.

  • Sebastián Píriz

Since next Monday you’l begin to see the real scope of the story that Dan and Nick created. I’m very lucky to be part of this :)

    • Nah, we’re lucky to have you :D

Edit: “Desde” in this case, would translate more accurately to “Starting” instead of “Since”, btw. ;)

      • Delta-v

Geez, you guys. We’re lucky to have all three of you.

        • And we’re all lucky to have you ;)

          Group hug everyone!

          • Abstain… it ruins my grumpy persona to participate in such things :D

          • :P Speaking of, maybe we should change your username to Nick, so that the grumpy persona doesn’t sound as official ;)

  • Heyo all, please keep up on the contest voting until the end of March, just in case :D

    • Jason Clayton

      lol, features own comment

      • Hehe. I actually featured Nick’s comment, since we really need the help to keep ahead on the contest still :P

Besides, nothing wrong with making sure an important comment gets viewed ;)

      • I’m just insecure…. nobody talks about me… its all “amazing art this…”, “great story that”… sniffle… whimper… love me???

        • If you want compliments, make the site look more awesome ;P

        • sebasp

Hey!! You rejected the group hug! Dont wimper now!

        • Jason Clayton

me being a big softy, i have to post this screenshot of the bottom of the figurine

          • Heh. Nick doesn’t even get a last name! ;)

            But what about Seba?

          • Jason Clayton

Adding that and Nick will get one once i learn it

          • Hehe. Nick is a Sharp, just like me (brothers and all). He might even want Nickolas on there instead of Nick.

          • Jason Clayton

k, personality wise, you wouldn’t be able to tell that my brother and I are identical twins. I’m a graphic designer, he’s a marine biologist/underwater welder

            edit~
fyi, just because i and currently working on the citations, doesn’t mean i am almost done, just taking a break from all the triangles. Right now i’m turning and re-positioning his fingers to hold the gun as well as the glove. After that, it’s to the body, or lack there of, because i highly doubt you want a paper thin suit of armor holding the girl

            …..so… many… triangles…

          • Hehe. Thanks. I’m still excited :D

          • sebasp

I know about that. Are you trying to smooth the surfaces? There are a few very usefull pluggins for sketchup that may save you some time

          • Jason Clayton

yea, i’ve mostly be messing with hidden geometry

          • Sebastián Píriz

Look for the Artisan pluggin. Theres a demo version that lasts a few days and it is just awesome. It lets you sculpt like if you were working with blender or any other classic 3d soft

          • Jason Clayton

Will do, as soon as the computer lab gets updated, I will be able to transfer the save into Maya . I can’t wait for that

          • “marine biologist/underwater welder” === Badass…. just saying. As a software engineer who used to do a healthy lot of web work, I have a shit-load of respect for graphics designers… but his job takes the cake hardcore there.

          • Jason Clayton

I say marine biologist first because he us currently taking welding classes

  • Kite

I see EMILE! No hiding that skull helmet from me.

    • As often seems to happen, I am sad to admit that I had to look up what you were referencing. I’ll have to ask Matias (the artist who drew that piece) if that’s what he was intending :)

  • robert

Don’t know if it helps with the story, but I have a PTSD assistance dog.

    • Actually that is pretty interesting. I’m assuming its a dog you care for and interact with as part of a PTSD therapy regimen? I honestly had to just google that and although I knew that animal fellowship played a large role in a lot of therapy, I was not aware of the scope. That’s definitely something to keep in mind for the story.

I’m sure Dan will eagerly pick your brain as much as you are willing.

      • Also, Welcome! Its great to have you here.

        • robert

Thanks! sorry it took so long to respond, your email got lost in the shuffle. I welcome any and all questions and any brain picking. As for the PTSD assistance dog he is actually a service dog that is trained to read body language or chemical imbalances. The dog then physically interacts with the person, and pulls them back to reality; or gives them a reason to escape the upsetting scenario. They can also lead a person that isn’t cognitive of their surroundings to a isolated and safe place.

    • I indeed would find that very helpful. I know that this is potentially sensitive, but if you’d be willing to email/chat and help me understand how to right PTSD correctly (or at least close), I’d appreciate it: dan at demonarchives dot com

  • I’ve been voting at TWC, both voting the usual way and by clicking the “free adspace link”.

I need to get off my duff and start adding “patron-only” content at BOHICA Blues. I have a lot that can go in, but I need to actually do it…

    • Thanks @Coyote. Not sure what the results of the contest are yet, but really appreciate the support :D

And I want rewards for my patronage! ;)

      • I was just in BB’s users dashboard, trying to give you a higher access level, when I realized… I can’t find you anywhere in my registered users list. I looked both for your post name -Daemondan- and your email and couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m a little… concerned…

        • That’s just because I never registered. Should I?

          • It would give me an account to upgrade! :-D

          • Fine… ;) Registered and waiting for auto-email to send me my password. Upgrade away!

          • Hmm, this is embarrassing. I’ve upgraded your account, but now I am searching for how to give different levels of access to you (and a couple others). But I can’t find anything that allows me to set different tiers of access… Maybe I have to make a new page and THEN set who can access it? Ehh… maybe having a person who is only barely tech literate running a website solo wasn’t the best move…

          • Hehe. I summon Nick! @demonarchives:disqus

          • What what??? @Coyote, if you want me to take a look just pm me : [email protected]

  • By the way- those big lumbering combat transports. Do they DO anything after dropping the guys off? Because they’re perfectly in place to provide a launch platform for drones, or some artillery batteries, and definitely anti-aircraft/anti-missile interception. I presume they are already casualty collection & first aid points as well as communications nodes, but they can do more while parked.

    • They can indeed many of those things (you saw them launch drones in early Chapter 1), assuming they don’t get destroyed (as you can see if you look closely in the end of Chapter 3).

      • I forgot about the drones, yes- a land-based aircraft carrier and mobile artillery platform. I dig those things; if I was in this future for real I’d probably be armored transport crew… although I was originally infantry… hmmm…

      • FarSeeker8 .

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand how something that massive could be taken out by some flechettes, explosive or not.

        • >:D Whoever said it was destroyed by flechettes? *evil authorial laugh*

  • Gadoguz

I think they need more room in the groin section to compensate for their huge balls of steel. Please reconfigure that
