    Hmmm… Kubek is scowling and Smith is smirking. Since the defense is calling witnesses, I wonder what is driving those expressions? Is Tenzin going to play the “lawful orders” defense and push Kubek in front of the bus? Maybe that’s why Kubek had the extraction planned for the previous night?

      Kubek seems to be mocking a scowl so if the goons see him, they’ll think that he thinks they’re not winning against the conspiracy. What he’s actually doing is probably calculating how hard it would be to escape, and how many goons are hidden among the crowd

          I just assumed that like moist veterans and soldiers, he was ready to fight. I assume he is retired, and that’s why he is more of a political figure. But he could definitely fight, right?

            AFAIK, Kubek is the active commander of Aegis. So he definitely has a political dimension to his position via his membership in the Minerva Regency. (i.e. the leaders of the 3 groups that make up Minerva: Aegis, Glaucus, and Oculus)

    Welp. Binge-read the whole comic in about two days I think? And now the bad wall of having to wait, hehe.
    But very well made and very enjoyable comic. Gonna be interesting to see how things continue and how long it’ll take until the conspirators are gonna get their due^^

        the lore articles as well (really enjoyed the Thalia Gordon/Nightshade
        stories). I’ll definitley check out the rest as well though.

        as for how I came across you: Yes, one of your ads showed up on another
        webcomic (Dr. McNinja XD) and it got me curious enough to remember it
        and come here to check things out.
